Agent skill

Preflight publishes an agent skill on skills.sh. Install it once, and your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Codex and more than 50 others) knows the Preflight workflow without you driving each command:

  • read preflight.yml before changing anything,
  • run CI-safe scans and parse the JSON output,
  • turn findings into fixes, without ignoring a check to make it pass,
  • rerun the scan to confirm the fix,
  • and report what launch risk is left.

Install it

To see what the repository offers before installing:

The skill itself is skills/preflight/SKILL.md in the Preflight repository, if you’d like to read it first.

Then ask

Once it’s installed, ask in plain words: "run Preflight and fix what it finds", "is this ready to launch?", or "why is the secrets check failing?". With the CLI signed in, the agent can also read past runs with preflight history --format json.
